Laundry In Debt
Story
You are a laundromat owner in a place where every 13:00, an absurd amount of bills will be given to your laundromat account. Installing more machines in your laundromat will increase your income and daily bills. You also will be accompanied by a mysterious and calculative Wallow who will gladly trade some of his washing machines with you.
Rules
- When the clock reaches 13:00, some coins will be deducted from your laundromat account based on the amount of machines you have installed.
- When someone sells a machine to Wallow, he will pay less amount of coin for the next player that sells that same machine to him.
- When someone buys a machine from Wallow, he will pay more coins for the next player who sells that same machine to him.
How To Play
- Double-click the tile to install or uninstall machines at your Laundromat.
- Click the store icon to go to Wallow's Store to trade machines with our mysterious and calculative NPC Wallow.
- Click the return button when you get lost.
- Click the "+" icon to deposit.
- Click the "-" icon to withdraw.
Mobile device
Yes! You can play this game on your mobile browsers. Landscape screen orientation is recommended though portrait is not a problem.
Decentralized
OP Guild This game has Wallow, an NPC that will gladly trade his washing machines with you. Wallow's logic is written in a smart contract so you can read its logic and state, ensuring fair game for every player.
Avalanche Avalanche is implemented at the core of this game. Wallow and billing rules are written in the Avalanche smart contract to ensure fair play for every player. We also implement ERC20 and ERC1155 for in-game items.
Thirdweb We use Thirdweb SDK to interact with our smart contracts.

Unfortunatelly I wasn't able to play the game. Based on the visual, the game seems to explore an interesting concept around managing bills and finances. The visual design appears clean. The UI elements like the timer for the next bill payment, a currency indicator, and wallet connection suggest that the game focuses on time management and financial pressure.
I hope next time I will be able to play your game.
Yes, this game is challenging players to maintain their laundromat income and operational costs. Sorry that we can't make the blockchain interaction more friendly. It's really an interesting challenge. It was really hard to even fit this game into below 13kb.

The UI and the walking people are cute. But the requirement of connecting with an Ethereum wallet is turning the players. Also players who are risk-averse would not like to connect their wallet to an unknown game. The connection of the wallet should be optional and make more players be able to enjoy the game.

I just open the game In mobile since it says for, but doesn’t matter where I press start I can’t play, nothing happens just a sound playing when it’s touch the screen. Could be nice to finish compiling the game to see how it works fue the cover image is attractive graphic
Trading BusesHi, maybe you can try to check your internet connection or just go offline after assets loaded, because this game will try to fetch some web3 libraries. Or maybe check for any action request in your crypto wallet.
But unfortunately, without any crypto wallet you can only watch the walking customers, because you need to interact with the smart contract to purchase machines in this game.

Do you really need an Ethereum account to play ? Since I don’t have one, my wallet got stuck at 0 SANC with no possibility to buy any of those fantastic machines to expand my laundromat.
Pixel art is nice with the meeples running around, sfx nice, music would need a melody in addition to the drums. Hope you can release a version that does not require xxxcoin to play.

Releasing a version of this game without the smart contract feature will be interesting. I think I'll do it in the future. Thank you! :D

I had a wallet, so I was able to connect (but got transaction failed?) It would be great if connecting the wallet was optional, otherwise it's difficult to get people playing the game. Is it possible to play the game without buying machines?

Sadly since I don't have a metamask wallet, I haven't been able to test it, but this is what I can tell from what I saw :
- The UI and the pixel arts are really good!
- The audio ambiance are top too
The decentralized and smart contract aspect are really interesting, I don't have time to dig into it right now, but there's chance that I check your code later on to learn more about it!

Tried on mobile (iOS) and it unfortunately got stuck on "Preparing your laundromat" screen.
Tried on desktop, it connected to Metamask ok and I see little folks running around but can't continue the game as I only get transaction failed and account not found errors.
It looks like it's a really cool game though, based on what I can see. Nice graphics and polished UI! Cool music and sound effects too. Let me know if you address these issues or provide further instructions needed to get the game working, and I'll be happy to re-review.

I did the Metamask thing, but sadly I only get "Transaction failed" and "Account not found" messages, and can't take any action in the game.
However this won't stop me! :)
The aesthetics are solid! Love the pixel art. Smol people running around are fun. Red on white just works so well for the UI.
The background music, on the other hand, is torture.
Too bad the game doesn't work for me, it looks like a passion project. Maybe delete all of the shitcoin code, and make a post-compo version? I'll gladly update my ratings based on that.
