NEAR and OP Games
Use NEAR to connect to paras.id's smart contract (testnet.) Players can unlock new levels by buying NFTs. The levels are integrated in the NFT itself, which means they cannot change! See them in your wallet, re-sell them on Paras.id, or transfer the NFT to someone else.
Aligning with OP Games because of the NFT integration. I'm also using kontra.js, an open source game engine.
Arcadian
Players can select cool headwear from a selection of Arcadians. Go to "Bonus Content" and wear a hat!
Web monetization
Players can unlock extra bonus headgear if they are Coil subscribers.
Feedback
Very nice, darky Cut The Rope variation ;) I like the game idea and the Coil bonus idea. I also like the way you're telling about the bonuses - it's a GUI element and the player can't miss it. It wasn't working under my Firefox - hats weren't visible, but it's working under Chrome. Perfect way of implementing bonuses.
Very cool rope physics. Like the minimalist graphics. Bubble sound effects are bubbly
I really like this take on a physics-based puzzler. The solemn soundscape also really sells the theming of this game really well. Because of the physics-based nature of the game there is both a strategic as well as a dexterous aspect to the game that play off of each other really well.
Fun physics-based gameplay, great visual feedback and sounds. Great flow for in-app level purchases via NEAR, it could be the start of allowing user-generated levels and rewarding them whenever someone purchases a level (similar to Fancade)
Wasn't able to access Arcadians. Besides that, gameplay is fun but challenging at the later stages.
nice interpretation of Cut the Rope. when you shorten the rope with arrow up you can´t get in back to the normal length. This was a bit bothering. all in all nice game
Cool physics with the rope. I was amazed how it interacted with moving objects, etc. Nice graphics and sound. I felt the controls were a bit difficult. I often won almost by mistake rather than by solving the level. All in all, a really good entry.
Interesting and fun game! One little thing: The number of hearts shown in the level selection menu probably should show how many hearts you picked up in that level. But for me, this was wrong in most cases (it seems like the number of hearts in the last level is shown for all, or something like that.)
This game is really innovative, but I'm so bad at it. Love the graphics and the audio. The physics are pretty impressive too.
Cool simple game idea. Good sounds and visuals. Interesting to imagine the NFT integration. Only issue is with the swinging motion, if that was more dialed in and natural I think the gameplay would be a lot more fun and a lot easier.
Great minimalistic physics puzzle game! I feel like controls could be done better, for keyboard/mouse or touch screens, I always want to cut the rope with mouse or finger
It is a great little game, I love the mechanics of the rope and swinging, the graphics are simple but nice. The Arcadians and Coil bonuses are fun extras but I think adding some gameplay-changing bonuses would be useful as well.
Tried the game! Well, surely it's well done and well made, I am afraid it's kinda hard for newcomers though, you should lower a bit the difficulty next time. I had a good time with this game, even if there were frustrating parts like not centering the hole sometimes and it took me a while to pick up the heart on the left on first level. Also, when I had to use Up to shorten my rope, I used Space to finish my level. Is good to have levels with more solutions and I appreciated that.
This is neat! Want more levels.
Coil integration gave me nothing though, just the "thanks" message.
I liked the way the string moved, felt very well simulated. I like puzzle games like this where a bit of lateral thinking is required. The pixel graphics were minimal but well done.
I've played it through to the end, and wanted more levels!
The music was good, and had a slightly creepy vibe, which I guess is the feel you were going for given the theme.
I saw the dev notes of this on twitter and followed with interest.
Once the rope is shortened, how do I lengthen it again?
Very slick, a nice game.
Really clever idea, loved following your dev on Twitter.
Like the bonus idea;the hats are a fun addon.
Struggled on level 8! Not matter what I tried couldnt beat it.
